Scott David Tingle (born July 19, 1965) is a current NASA Astronaut.[1] Tingle was selected in June 2009 as a member of the NASA Astronaut Group 20, qualifying in 2011.
Biography[]
Tingle is a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Tingle was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, but considers Randolph, Massachusetts his hometown. Tingle is a test pilot and Assistant Program manager-Systems Engineering at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. Tingle holds degrees from Southeastern Massachusetts University and Purdue University.[2]
